About PPAB

In 1984, we commissioned members of our professional staff to develop a continuing education program that would serve to enhance the skills of others concerned with the treatment of lower extremity problems.  Practical Programs for Applied Biomechanics (PPAB) was developed and "When the Feet Hit the Ground..." has evolved into the sophisticated format of the current presentations, incorporating the combined knowledge and experience of several recognized experts.  In response to a growing demand from participants, we have added a "Level II" program which builds upon the basics presented in our initial "Level I" course.  In total, more the 25,000 PT's, OT's, MD's, DO's, Orthotists/Prosthetists, and Chiropractors have attended these premier courses in the United States and in Europe.

In 2001, PPAB grew by introducing the Pelvic Girdle course, which is a 2 day hands-on program.

We are expecially pleased that we have been able to maintain our seminars as informational exchanges between professionals without the imposition of commercial sponsors.
